Default I broke my ankle last night :(

Last year I tore the ligaments in my right ankle and the doctors I went to never did anything about it and they did not heal properly.

Last night at work i did basically the same thing I did a year ago only this time it was worse. The ligaments in my ankle tore again and this time they tore the bone they were attached to right along with them. After 2 hours of convincing I went to the ER and found this out.

I went this mornign and had a cast put on from my toes to my knee. I'm stuck with this sucker for 6 long weeks. They are going to build the cast up on Thursday so I can walk on it but right now I'm on crutches and I'm pretty much immobile. I might have a hard time getting to the PO until I can go without crutches because I can't carry packages and use crutches at the same time. Only a couple days.

Just thought I'd let everyone know.

Sometimes if it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all...

On my left, I saw days upon days of lipstick and ticking clocks, dirty looks and quiet whisperings. And burning secrets that just won't ever die away. And on my right, what could I picture? The blue sky, the desert earth, stretching out into the eerie infinity. A beautiful never-ending nothing.

Get well soon, Nanny. Don't give our trade another thought. Just get well.

OIh it's not stopping me here at home - it's just hindering me getting to the store to get more tapes and getting to the PO.

Once I get the hang of the crutches and then have the cast built up so I can walk in it I'll be good to go

Isn't that picture lovely?

Now it's all casted up and you can't see it at all

ouch... look at it like this. At least it didnt happen in the summer heat. I broke my foot 2 years ago in the summer. It was itchy stinky, and miserable. Once they give you a boot . You ll be more comfortable with getting around.
just look at as leg warmer.

hope you feel better.
