An odd reason to close a thread

As compared to what? This thread is consistant with the other threads on that board.

Superstar is obviously playing favorites.

I mean there are entire threads on that board with nothing but smilies in each post, and he/she calls that thread stupid?

Your best bet is to send TJ a PM and explain it to him. Personally, I don't see why it was closed. It wasn't offensive to anyone.
