Default Muchmusic 20 year Anniversary

For those of you in Canada Muchmusic(Canada's answer to MTV) will celebrate their 20th anniversary!! I read about Muchmusic because I have a crush on one of the original VJ's JD Roberts now going to John Roberts who is Dan Rather's heir apparent and Sr White House correspondent for CBS News! I am still trying to find pictures of him with a mullet but there are only a few!! Women and girls had a huge crush on him!! Now he is 47(born November 15, 1956) with gray short clean cut hair!! Handsome though!!

Wow! Its been 20 Years. Unbelievable!

MuchMusic has come a long way since 20 years. They also expanded a few channels for specific music lovers.

MuchMoreMusic is geared to the classic videos of the 1980's and 1990's, along with old concert footage of the 1960's and 1970's (for the classic rock lovers).

MuchLoud is directed to the Heavy Metal/Punk/Grunge crowds who like to hear constant screaming music

MuchVibe is for the Hip Hop/Rap/R&B/Techno crowds who like dance to the urban beats.

MuchMoreRetro is a 24 hour commercial-free classic music video channel, and is a direct expansion of their MuchMoreMusic channel. it contains mostly videos from the 1980's and 1990's.

I know MuchMusic released their American counterpart channel MuchMusic USA, but I can't seem to find a website for it. Does anybody have MuchMusic USA on their cable or satellite dish?

Cool. Thanks for the link.

By the way, there is also a MTV Canada website as well, if you haven't already knew. However, It's not owned by MuchMusic company.

I get it, but the name was changed to Fuse. It's the best channel on TV, too. I remember when it first came on it was called MMUSA.

Yeah, I get Fuse too. I LOVE that channel. The commercials making fun of MTV are hilarious too.

Fuse is the only music channel on television devoted to rock, which is a good thing. Yes, there is VH1 Classic, but how about rock songs under 15 years old?

Vh1 Classic isn't exclusively rock though. There've been times I've watched and they even show old rap videos from De La Soul, Queen Latifah, Grandmaster Flash, stuff they never showed on the original VH1 when those videos were new. I like that mix of the old hip hop vids along with soul and top 40. Only program I don't get into on VH1 Classic is Metal Mania. I can take the occasional Def Leppard video, but not much more than that.

Can't help you there, Shelby. MuchMusic has a message board as well. I noticed you posted there the other day. That's probably the best way you'll get an answer. You can always e-mail MuchMusic as well.

Good Luck!
