Hello

I just joined this board and am happy to be part of a group that appreciates the talents of Bill Bixby & Brandon Cruz. Does anyone know if this wonderful television series will ever be released on DVD? I used to watch it as a kid and wished that Bill Bixby could be my dad. His character was so sweet and mild mannered. I'd love for my children to have the opportunity to watch this quality show.

Hi! You can send a message to Dave McConnell who posts messages here. He can make copies of episodes for you on video or DVD. He's made copies of some episodes of Courtship of Eddie's Father on video for me twice already.
Like you, I watched the show when I was kid and enjoyed the reruns of it on TNT when they aired on Sunday mornings in the early 1990's. I hope they'll be on TV again soon, but just don't put them on TV Land or another channel we don't get. I'd rather see them on Nick-At-Nite, but that channel currently only shows modern TV classics. Older sitcoms are better, in my opinion.

Thanks for the information re: COEF copies. Does he charge for the copies. You were lucky to have been able to see COEF again after all these years. I haven't seen the program since it aired in the 70s. I'm 41 now and it's been way too long. It would be a dream come true to have the entire series to view and share with my family. Thanks again for the info. Just out of curiousity, which episodes do you have? You know that I can't even remember any of the story lines. That's how long it's been. I look forward to future correspondence with you.

Hi! It was great finding a message on this board for me from another Courtship of Eddie's Father fan.
You're welcome for the information I sent you about somebody who can tape the show for you. You can send him a mesage on this board from one of the messages he posted about having episodes of the show for sale. Anyway, in December 2001, he recorded 4 episodes for me-that cost me $8 (the price included postage and handling). I also received 2 episodes last month for $10 (I guess the price increased since the first time he recorded some for me).
I'm not sure exactly which episodes I have, but I do know that I have at least 50 of them, thanks to recording them when they were on TNT in the early 1990's and having a member of this board record some for me.
