well I am almost certainly done with Lametime. The two VCR idea isn't working out, and I can't get into UM at 1pm because there are 4 other things I am watching at that time. The 1pm slot sucks...
![]() Besides occasionally watching it on Lifetime and on my tapes(which I have 25 or more filled with UM), I think I am done with the series, unless they move it to another slot( )

I actually forgot to set my VCR timer. I only have 5 VHS tapes filled with 4 episodes each, I know that I have about a ton of episodes to go. |

My suggestion is to record, record, record. In a perfect world the show would air several times a day and would repeat the episodes(like some networks do with sitcoms) to make sure everyone sees it. I don't think you'll ever see half of the episodes played on Lifetime again. It's on life support now.

I wish some other channel would pick up Unsolved Mysteries and give it the attention it deserves.

It amazes me that Lifetime would keep playing around with the time slot of this show. Do they not realize that Unsolved Mysteries isn't JUST an interesting show, it actually helps solve crimes and reunite loved ones? These are real people, not actors, in a living hell over a loved one's murder. These are real people never giving up the search for a long lost relative, friend or companion. These are REAL people that want some closure in their lives, and taking this show and playing around with the time slot won't help them in the slightest.
As a direct result of the show airing it's reruns on Lifetime, they are still SOLVING mysteries. People call the telecenter with updates about certain unsolved stories that weren't called in when the show was on NBC. ***sigh*** Putting the show on at 1:00 in the afternoon means hardly anyone will ever get to watch it. It's pretty much a death sentence. |

The only reason they are doing this is because Robert Stack died. Their treatment of the show since he died last year is nothing short of trash.

Yeah, I definitely prefer the 5pm CT time slot or at least they should show it twice a day like they used to.
Remember when they used to show it at noon and 7PM CT? They did that for a long time like when they showed new episodes. |

on the website it says its back on at 6, but on my tv's show guide it still says 1:00, which is it?
I'd wish they would show it at 8 or 7. |

Everyone complained when they pulled USM off. Now they put it back on, and everyone still complains. Im just happy it wasnt totally taken away. 1pm happens to be a great time for me, most days and when its not I just tape it or catch it the next day.
Lets just be happy it still airs!
