Thumbs down Grape Nuts cereal

I think Grape Nuts is the scariest food out there. I hear it's supposed to be really good and healthy for you, but it sucks all the milk out of the bowl and maintains its crunchiness, and I swear it grows when I try to eat it. I'll eat a bowl of sugary sweet cereal (which I also don't like) before I try Grape Nuts again

Now, to go kill the monster that has appeared in my cereal bowl...
If I'm not back, avenge my death!

I used to like Grape nuts, but I haven't had them since the 80s.

Thats one cereal you never have to worry about getting soggy. I actually used to let it sit for a few minutes to soften up a bit.

Hey, I happen to LOVE Grape Nuts. Mmmmm. It's REALLY good when you mix it with Dannon fat-free vanilla yogurt. I used to have that almost every day my senior year in HS. Man, now I want some Grape Nuts w/ yogurt, but I can't because I'm here at school.

May I recommend Grape Nut Flakes?

Grape Nuts are horrible. My God I swear I slowly feel my teeth falling apart. Theyre not so bad though if you sprinkle just a couple in yogurt.

OK, then I must be the only one that LOVES it...This is the same person that has loved raisin bran cereal since she was a wee kid, too...

I agree with anyone, who doesn't like Grape-Nuts. That stuff feels like it could break your teeth! And it doesn't even taste that good.

Folks....

TRY IT WITH VANILLA YOGURT SOMETIME.

It's really not THAT bad as you guys make it out to be!

I heard on "Unwrapped" (on the Food Network) that the stuff in Grape Nuts is actually hardened bread...I forgot how the process went...but it's actually bread.

It's my all-time favorite cereal. My mom ate it all the time when she was pregnant with me and I guess that's why I love it so much. OMG, I let it sit for a few minutes, and then eat it...mmm...yummy.

I used to eat this cereal all the time as a kid! It's great! Try it with brown sugar (the only sugar I put on cereal, if it's not presweetened) it's yummy that way! I also like it mixed in yogurt -nice healthy snack.

However, I hate grape nuts flakes. They get soggy 10 seconds after you pour on the milk - bleck!

How many of you "old-timers" remember that Grape-Nuts commercial of the '70's? "Ever eat a pine tree?" (or was it pine cone) Ewel Gibbons. Can't remember how the rest of the commercial went...

Could you perhaps TRY to get your point across without the OBNOXIOUS use of large letters and graphics? Do you have a Napoleonic complex or something?
