Post Diff'rent Strokes is really annoying! Don't you agree?

At first when I heard about Diff'rent Strokes coming to N@N, I was thinking that it would be pretty cool. Well, I started watching the show and got to liking it, but then it to get old and annoying. The have too many marathons. Plus Gary Coleman got on my nerves. He acts the same in every episode (big-mouth and very outspoken). And worst of all, it killed the Facts of Life. I don't understand how it became more popular than FOL. All DF does is focus on Gary Coleman. FOL gives the spotlight to more than one person. I just don't understand why people including Nick at Nite are obsessing over this show so much. It isn't all that good!

P.S: I'm still a Nick at Nite fan, I just don't like what they did to FOL.

I love the Facts Of Life. I also love Diff'rent Strokes. I agree with you I don't understand why Nick doesn't include The Facts of Life in their marathons.

I agree that Diff'rent Strokes is pretty stupid. I don't like that show very much and I'd much rather have them play The Facts of life cuz it's the best show!

DS is alright...it's jsut different than FOL. But I know what you mean, Gary Coleman does tend to get on the annoying side. But then again, sometimes, he's just darn plain funny.

Well, FOL wouldn't have come about without DS.

They are 2 different shows. DS is more for young kids. FOL, more for teens and young adults.

As for Gary Coleman, he could get annoying however back then, he was America's Sweetheart as well...one of the highet paid actors in hollywood.

I do agree that FOL should be in the marathon, but I don't think that it's the fault of DS alone.

Yes, I do find it unfair that DS gets more marathon-push than FOL. That sux.

Persoanlly, I think Three;s Company, DS< and Them <bleep> Bradys all conspired together to get rid of FOL. They saw how big it was, got jealous, and plotted revenge.

I agree 100 percent. Ds got so annoying. I liked Gary, but dana (Kimberly) got on my nerves. I thought the show was way to happy. The kids always got there way! They hardly ever got punished. I think the show ran for too many years.

I totally disagree! I have always liked Diff'rent Strokes much better than Facts Of Life. That won't ever change.

Question

I think Dana Plato is the most annoying actress to ever walk the earth!!!!! I also think Gary Coleman has a big head. Do u agree?

------------------
On April 24, 2008 Kaley and I are going too meet in LA, and hancuff ourselfs too Nancy McKeons car, or better yet her! And your not! Were also gonna find Jay Harrington too.

Teddy: Be honest with me, not my parents!
Jinny: All right, fine. You want honesty? Why don't you let me tell you a little bit about my family? See, I never really had a birthday party unless you wanna count my 15th, when my father showed up for cake, plastered in his underwear! Oh, yeah, by the way, my mom couldn't make it that year either because, well, sadly, six months earlier she blew her brains out!!!!!
Teddy: Jinny, my God.
Jinny: As for my brother, uh yeah, John... see, he just doesn't like you unless your American, white, and straight! and for me, a few weeks ago when I had that nut case after me... yeah, I had to make a little list, of all the guys that I've slept with in the last two years. I couldn't remember some of their names.
Teddy:Stop! What are you...
Jinny: Ya know what? This is who I am, THIS IS MY FAMILY!!!! Come on, it's your turn. You go ahead, flash that all-American, prep school, choir boy smile and you tell me that it doesn't matter! *long pause* Yeah... Thats what I thought.

~DANA JINNY EXSTEAD ~

The Dana parts Real... The rest i stuck in there for fun.

I like FOL better than DS but I still like DS a lot.

Things that are annoying about DS:

1.Dana Plato's early "oh daddy" bad acting and pigtails
2. When Sam and Maggie came.
3. Later in the show when it seems like Arnold is ALWAYS insulting Willis.
4.Showing Gary Coleman in his underwear.

It's nice to watch DS because they are mostly new episodes I havn't seen before unlike FOL which most episodes I have seen. I relate more to FOL and never get sick of the show but I laugh more with DS and don't like to see repeats the way I could watch them like FOL.

Willis is hot and everything, but I think that show gets old really fast. I liked when Mrs. G was on Diff'rent strokes and not those other ladys.
