Professor accused of aiding fugitive Fred Russell

I came upon a recent article related to Frederick Russell, who has been on the run since October of 2001. He is wanted for a drunk driving crash that killed three people, and injured several others. UM profiled him in the summer of 2002. In the article, it is mentioned that a University of West Florida professor is accused of helping Russell flee to Canada to avoid prosecution for the traffic crash, which took place in Oregon, in June of 2001. The person in question is Bernadette Olson, who, in 2001, was a graduate student at Washington State University. For more details, please click on to the link. |
