Movie News
February 5, 2004...
Nicole Kidman has committed to starring in the big screen version of BEWITCHED, to be directed by Nora Ephron (SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE.) Kidman's contracted for a pay-or-play deal meaning that regardless what may happen to possibly derail the film, she will be paid her monies no matter what. Will Ferrell will play the husband of Kidman's good-natured witch, and director Ephron wants to begin shooting the movie this summer. Ephron also wrote the screenplay for the movie. Here's hoping Nicole gets to wear a brunette wig and play Samantha's evil cousin Serena... [Variety.] The movie is in pre-production and yet they only have two people signed on. What? Should a full cast be signed on? |
