Question Far From Heaven

Has anyone seen this movie? It stars Julianne Moore and Dennis Quaid. I recently saw it and I loved it. It was very different than any other movie I had seen. And it was interesting to see how the story unfolded.

So, has anyone else seen this movie?

Yes, Miss Moore did recieve a nomination. She was wonderful, and to add some trivia, quite pregnant when they filmed.

I also thought Dennis Quaid was excellent in this film. He really is one of the most underappreciated actors working today.

Dennis Quaid is a good actor. I liked his The Big Easy, Inner Space, D.O.A., Everybody's All American, Any Given Sunday movies. Dennis Haysbert was in Far From Heaven also. He's a good black actor who doesn't get enough credit. He plays on 24 tv show with Kiefer Sutherland & he was in Major League & Major League 2 movies. Julianne Moore is a very attractive woman & a good actress. I first saw her in Assassins movie with Sylvester Stallone & Antonio Banderas. Isn't Dennis Quaid's character gay in Far From Heaven? Did they show Dennis kissing another guy in the movie? I hope not. I might have to check it out.

So good, and the way they styled it after the Douglas Sirk films of the 50's was a great artistic touch. The acting, I agree, was also incredible.

That's what I liked most about it, the look of it, the music. How one scene faded into the next, even the credits at the end of the movie, it had a nice old feel to it.

I saw this movie last night. It was good. I think Dennis Haysbert & Julianne was going too far when Dennis took her to his side of town to have dinner at that black restaurant. That black dude asked Dennis, boy what the hell are u doing LOL. I felt bad for Dennis's daughter when those white boys threw a rock at her & hit her in the head & she fell down. That was messed up when Julianne went to Dennis Quaid's job & caught him kissing another man. I can't believe Dennis would mess with another man over Julianne. I've always thought Julianne was attractive.
