I was just on the sitcomsonline.com homepage, and there was a list of new DVD releases and Green Acres is coming out on dvd. I've never seen it before, but I just thought of Dave when I saw it, and figured why not post it

Green Acres came out in January and I bought it, mainly because it was Dave Nelson's favorite show. In an interview Dave Foley said that Green Acres really was his favorite show.

This was mentioned in the show's last episode:
Dave (to Jimmy): "'Darling I love you but give me Park Avenue."' (Jimmy replies.) Dave: "...I was quoting the theme song to 'Green Acres'." Jimmy: "...that's your favorite show, 'Green Acres,'..." Dave: "...'Green Acres' isn't my favorite TV show,...granted it's wonderfully rendered half hour of absurdist comedy, you know"
