She was frugal and he spent money like it was water, so yes, they had seperate accounts, but seing as they were President and Vice President of Desilu, they would have to have some things that they dealt with together.

yeah, I think all those checks you see on ebay and stuff are from their business accounts. Whoever got those must be rich by now! (I still wonder how they got them or how many people got them and all that)

I always wondered why they would bother making cheques for such small amounts, but it seems celebrities knew, even back then, that most people will keep the cheque for it's value instead of actually cashing it which means the stars rarely actually PAY for anything.

I wonder that too! How can someone be so lucky! Is it that they clean the bank record vaults every now and then and give these away??

I heard somewhere that they auctioned off alot of stuff when Desilu was sold. (Like the old cancelled checks) I can't remember where I heard that or if it's true though. I could retire on what one stack of those old checks are worth though, I know that.

I got one from E-bay with Desi's signature. I hope it's shipped soon...

That's cool! So let's have some details:

1. who was it made out to?
2. what year?
3. how much?

Or you can tell me to mind my own business if you want to.
