I wish UM would go back into production with a new host(not Dennis Farina). The gmail account made things look a bit shady.

I just sent them an e-mail about the Austin,TX yogurt case and immediately got an automated response that said:
Dear Viewer, Thank you for contacting UNSOLVED MYSTERIES. This is an automated reply to let you know that we have received your new story submission. We will review your story and contact you if more details are needed. Sincerely, The UNSOLVED MYSTERIES Staff I suppose we could tell them about the Natalee Holloway case but that's been done to death. Wasn't Amy Bradley already covered by UM? I just thought of someone else! Jennifer Kesse! Hot chick that went missing from her condo complex. |

If *anyone* receives further follow-up from UM from their submission I'd love to see you post on here, you can be vague if you want. I just want to see if they're bull****ting.
I agree the Gmail address made them look pretty lame - they can't get an email at unsolved.com? haha. Quote:

Hahaha! I know, me too. Although, I favor Stack, I'll keep watching.

Jennifer Kesse story was done quit well already by 48 Hours. And Yes, Amy Bradley was covered by UM already. Wish there was an update to that one. |

The Amy Bradley case is still open but most likely she's dead. It seems some claim a skull bone found on Aruba could be hers.
I sent in the Jennifer Kesse case and the Austin yogurt case since UM never covered those. I got automated replies to both but nothing else so far. |

Anyone would be better than Farina. Duchovny would be awesome. They got so lucky with Robert Stack. That's why I felt they should have gone with someone much younger and different only because any old tough looking guy will pale in comparison to Stack.

It's a cool comic because it's just like a UM segment nothing fictionalized, the details of the case are just laid out in comic form. It seems to be an obscure case in general. I lived in New Orleans for years during college and heard all the vampire lore repeated and all the ghost stories but not once did a native ever bring up the Axeman and not many even knew about it until I told them myself and I am from NY. I am pretty sure he addressed a letter as being from hell also but I would have to double check. It would have been nice to see a UM segment about it with Robert Stack, have him walk around the French Quarter with jazz music in the background. |

I just watched an episode of Vanished with Beth Holloway about her case. It was just awful what happened to her, i get the idea she could still be in slavery though. They confirmed pictures of her on an escort service website. CHeck out the show if you are interested. Right now Vanished is up there with my favorite true crime shows. I think Beth Holloway is an excellent host and her victim's perspective always lends alot to her take on the cases. |
