Come to think of it, would Three's a Crowd have stood a better chance at lasting longer had instead of pairing Jack up with this new girl, they carried Priscilla Barnes' over from Three's Company? I mean, imagine having Jack and Terri realize that they're romantically in love with each other. Since Jack didn't know Terri as well as Janet you couldn't just write it off as saying that Janet was too much like a sister to Jack for them to be together.

No because it would have not been the same as TC

It would've been better than Jack and Vicki but still probably wouldn't have lasted more than a couple seasons.

I prefer Vicki. I love Janet but I prefer her and Jack as platonic friends not romantic partners.

Vicky . A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.

Here are five BIG reasons why Jack and Janet should have ended up together when the classic TV sitcom, "Three's Company" came to a close.

The difference between Vicky or Janet is that Janet was a sweet girl who also had a temper and toughness. Vicky may have been a bit of a bland square at least, considering who were parents (in particular, her mother, who was more of a vixen type) were.

I'm kind of in agreement with those who think that a Three's a Crowd with Janet as Jack's romantic partner wouldn't have worked. What exactly would be the point of doing a spin-off if you're essentially still doing Three's Company except with only two roommates?

I agree. However Threes A Crowd was pretty much Threes Company without a third roommate. Vicki's dad was like Mr Roper, the foil. Jack's Bistro was the same and many episodes used the "sexual misunderstanding" theme. I remember the one that Vicki's friend thinks Jack is after her while she stays in the apartment. Threes Company had jumped the shark by season 8. But Season 8 was still better than Threes A Crowd.

It should have been Jack and Janet. They had that magical chemistry.
