I am a little OVER THE TOP sometimes, but what do you expect when Lucy Ricardo babysat me as a child and i spent all my formative years looking up to her as a mentor and role model, except MY big nose isn't fake!

. I agree though Lucille will always be my mentor/role model. I may have alot of favorite actresses but she will always be my number one redhead

Thanks Claude!!! I love that picture too.. im trying to find more on the internet that i havent seen yet!! i have a big file of her pictures on my work computer & at home... i think i maybe a little obsessed LOL! She does look like an Angel, and Mickey I think she would want to be an Angel

Sorry i know this place is full of atheists but deep down i so want to believe there's something else after this, and if there is, Lucy is an angel because she's guiding people's lives and is a mentor to so many people, the guiding part, isn't that what angels are supposed to do? They get paid for that sort of thing and for people like you and me Mickey, they can get time and a half!

She's up there (or down here) helping out Michael Landon, you mean?! Not a bad destiny I suppose... but I think that traditionally speaking angels are supposed to be a bit more polite. So she'll have to watch her tongue or she'll get her wings clipped!

That BIT about her being so brusque with people is the exact same thing Kate Hepburn and Bette Davis did, you don't get to the top in a man's world by being a wimp, and although Kate did it with more class than Bette, they all had to exhibit that behavior to survive and get to where they were on that Hollyweird ladder. Lucy used to say that Carole Lombard came to her in a dream and told her to do The I Love Lucy show, her exact words were GO AHEAD, GIVE IT A WHIRL! When i look at the current world around me, i desperately want to believe that if some young girl is in trouble, she prays to Lucy for guidance and she gets an answer, if that's not the case, she at least can still look at the show and forget her troubles for a while, and that pleases me too, and to still yield that power although you've left the world alomost 15 years ago, now that's angelic to me.
