then fred replies, "And Sammy Davis jr sends his" and starts dancing and falls on lamont, it looked ad libed and on the spot, hillarious

If you are talking about the Episode Seargant Gork, that's the worst Sanford and Son Episode EVER!!!

Yeah it was boring because Fred was out of character. I hate when tv shows do that.

Angry What Are You Talking About

I Am talking about when he is telling his step-grandson about being captured by germans, and he was Major Fred G. Sanford
("And the G Stands for guts, Guts and more guts"), to quote one of Fred's lines. I don't know where you got Sgt. Gork from, and why do you say that's a boring ep, when I am talking about the same ep. that you were talking about. The one where Esther is singing in German as she comes down the stairs, and fred notices and starts making a face.

I forget the name, but he wasn't named Sgt Gork. Yah he was out of charactor because it was a story he was telling. Anyway I was talking to tyler77. He thought it had a funny scene in it. You are entitled to your opinin, I personally thought it was funny

I agree. I don't usually mind if the character is "out of character," but the whole episode made no sense at all.

I thought it was supposed to be a PARODY off of the movie PATTON. I didn't think it was one of the better episodes but it wasn't SAVED BY THE BELL either.....good gawd.

Default Fred's typewriter incident

I recently saw an s & s episode where toward the end Fred is telling Lamont about writting his memoirs. Just as lamont exits the kitchen ,fred goes to the typewriter and just as he touches the carriage, it goes flying off and fred falls back off his seat. As he stands he clutches his heart. It is soooo funny and I can't help but wonder if it was planned or did he accidentally fall back. I had not seen it in a while and I was on the floor laughing, Classic

there are just so many funny moments , but the episode where lamont and ralo try to be actors, and then fred joins them only to find out its a skin flick, and they get arrested in the raid. honorable mention is the episode when bubba sees lamont go in that gay bar, and then ralo sees fred go in one, and they sit down for the birds and bees talk, haha.

Thumbs up Funniest scene on Sanford and Son

My favorite scene has to be when Fred and Lamont got tested for TB. Lamont misread the letter which stated that Fred's test came back unsatisfactory, Fred stood up and said "I got it", I got it and it's all your fault. You and that damn x-ray machine. Then Fred went over to the drawer and got his glasses and read the letter, come to find out, it was Lamont's results and not Fred's.
