In school, I'm not asking to be popular or anything like that. I could care less about that, I just want to be treated like a human being. When others talk about me I feel like I can't do anything right or that I am worthless. That is the worst feeling of all.

Me too. Being alone made me kinda self conscious, but I was more @ ease by myself.

These have got to be the saddest stories I have ever heard! Ok, so I'm not saying my school life is going perfectly: I am in the middle of a huge fight with one "friend", I have never had a boyfriend...but after hearing all of your stories, I guess I'm pretty lucky. I am so sorry for you guys.

A person just can't win. If you come across someone that likes to pick, they'll find anything about you just to be able to pick. I might have my people mixed up, but wasn't it Jinny Girl who got picked on because of weight issues and then she started going through eating disorders and they still picked on her? A person can only be big or thin. Geez, what did they expect her to be?

Question: Do you think the people that do the picking has low self esteem? A picker could weigh 120 pounds and they might think they are fat and then they go up to somebody that weighs, lets say 175 pounds to pick on. Does that make the picker feel better about themselves to call the person that is 175 pounds a whale or something?

Oh Im sure SOME have low self esteem or family problems. Some just dont care and want a laugh. It was always the deadbeat druggies who picked on people. Ugh.. dont insult me until you finish your second year of junior classes ok?

K-3rd Grade - It was cool, I had my little friends that I'd hang out with, people liked me so everything was good.

4-5th Grade - They were okay grades, I never got made fun of and I had two friends school was fine.

6th Grade - HELL!! I never got made fun of, but thats just it nobody noticed me. My friends were all too good for me and never talked to me anymore, I pretended with my mom I was so popular when in reality nobody knew I exisited and I would just cry all day. I spoke with people alot though, asking what it said on the board or what homework assignment they forgot thats about it.

7-8th Grade - I met up with this girl named Amy and she was my best friend along with this dude Aaron (moved right after 7th grade), eh I lived through it.

9th Grade - Best year ever, I had a boyfriend and around 4 friends and I always was gone somewhere hangin out with my friends. It was an awesome year...

10th Grade (now) - Broke up with my boyfriend over the summer and one of my friends was with him, so she hates me now. My other friends kinda just went with other people and kinda stopped talking to me, well except one. I have one best friend but I talk to more people now. I'll see how the rest of the year goes, it's alright I guess even though I hate work and staying in that hell hole. I'll live. Oh I forgot to add something I have been in a few fights, this girl was talking **** about me to one of her friends and all pointing at me and what I was wearing so I walked right up to her and slapped her, I don't take **** from people like that so she started ripping my hair while I got her down on the ground. I don't take **** from stupid bitches who make fun of me (it was obvious) and think its okay.

I like that name.. Anyways back to the topic, K-10 was ****ing hell. I was called names because I wasn't rich and because I was so short. I was kicked, punched, bit, my hair pulled. 11th and 12th grade: I started not to care, I got into fights even kicked a few cheerleaders asses.. Eventually got kicked out of 3 high schools in 2 years. Anyways, don't let those people bother you, because sooner or later their popularity and looks or whatever is going to fade, and then where will they be.

Hmm. Damn. Where to begin?

Well, first off, I'm a guy, so things were a little different, but not much at all.

K-5: Perfect. Had friends. Did all the normal "young un" stuff (Sleepovers, Boy Scouts, etc.) Never picked on. Had a "friend" and we constantly made fun of each other, but it was all in fun.

6-7: Hated those years. Absolutely hated them. Awkward Years? Oh Yeah. All my friends from elementary got other friends, did other things. So it was like, eh, who needs em? LOL.

8-9: Best years. No one cared about cliques or anything. Had friends in every class, liked the teachers and classes. Never picked on, and just fit in. I mean, I was never popular, I was in between being popular and not popular. Make sense? LOL.

10-11: Awful. Much like 6-7. The kids were back in their little cliques, and It just seemed like I outgrew them. I mean, It was just different.

12: Best year, out of all of them. No one cared anymore, you know. Friends with everyone.

Overall, I had a good school experience. The worse being 10-11, because unlike 6-7, I was like, well damn, I hate being on the outside. I mean, of course, I had acquaintances, but I was always the one who hung around home and watched TV, etc. I never went to a single dance, ever, or party. Well, Senior year I did. I went to a few calm parties. I had three real friends throughout every single year, so that was always good. I didn't even have a girlfriend until towards the end of 11th grade. I mean, wtf was up with how everyone dated in highschool? It was like "oh, I'm 'going out' with so and so" I mean, all they did was pass notes. Did they even go out? Doubt it. It was like they "dated" each other just to say they dated that cool popular person.

Highschool was so funny, I can still picture all of the cliques in my school at lunch in my head:

The Jocks
The Cheerleaders
The Goths
The Popular
The Unpopular
The Brains
The In-betweens
