1. With Ghosts, has CBS already found the perfect heir apparent to Young Sheldon as the top single-camera comedy in America?

2. I was hesitant about Blue Bloods surpassing the run-length of the original Dallas series, considering its 18-49 demo ratings have always been poor (its best such rating was a 2.2, and that was for its first-ever episode). Before the pandemic, I thought BB would end after its (current) 12th season. The only reason BB is continuing to do well right now is because its viewers want to avoid the boring two-hour Datelines and 20/20s. Alright, BB, if you want to tie or beat Dallas and become become the longest-running "Friday Night Delight" in America, go right ahead.

CBS is TV's most-watched network in total viewers for the 14th straight year

CBS' season-to-date average of 6.35 million viewers -- topping NBC's 6.25 million -- has allowed the network to declare victory with three weeks to go in the 2021-2022 TV season. This is the second time CBS has had the most viewers while competing with NBC's Super Bowl and Olympics coverage. This season, NBC has the No. 1 drama in NCIS, the No. 1 comedy in Young Sheldon, the No. 1 new series overall and comedy in Ghosts and the No. 1 new drama in NCIS: Hawai’i.

I do like Young Sheldon but it’s not a comedy. It’s a Dramedy like Father Knows Best or The Wonder Years (both versions).

I will really miss Good Sam, Sophia Bush is such a charming lead. I am grateful CBS aired all 13 episodes with Sam's low ratings and didn't pull it.

Wow, Chuck Lorre's clout at CBS has gone way down. I am shocked both B Positive AND United States of Al were cancelled, when I saw the Al news that first broke last night had assumed that meant B Positive was safe.
