William Bradford Bishop
There have been several times over the years the FBI has come out and said "we think we are close" or "we just got a strong lead" and nothing came of it. I really want this guy found before he passes away. |

I would chose the Tara Breckenridge case. It happened in Houston and I live right outside the city.

Katherine Korzilius, because the case really bothers me, and I don't think it was investigated adequately.

In terms of the crimes tho, there's so many in my tops list, but I'd probably have to go with Amy Billig.

I decided to start at season 1 and go season by season looking at cases that have never had updates added to them. In Season 6 Episode 7(Amazon Prime) I came across the John Cheek case. I have obviously watched it before but for some reason it never stood out. It's a very short segment & is absolutely baffling. 28 yr old John Cheek was the CFO at a Memphis Real Estate company. His car was found on the Memphis/West Memphis bridge on December 2, 1993. There were no signs of a struggle or foul play in general. It was as if he pulled over to the side of the bridge and vaporized into air. At first it seemed that he may have committed suicide. But, almost 25 yrs later his body has never surfaced & everyone who knew him said that he was not depressed and would never consider suicide. I know, alot of families believe their loved ones would never kill themselves. Also, he went missing only hours before he was going to close a multi-million dollar deal that he had been working on. It was the biggest deal in his companies history. With the little info given I tend to believe he was killed and it may have had something to do with this deal. Just a guess. Very interesting case.

Chaim Weiss. I would love to talk to students and staff and ask them what they think happened.
Matt Flores and Charlie Anderson gets honorable mentions along with Dick Hansen. |

Nah, he killed himself. Maybe he botched something in the deal or had some other notice it wasn't going to go through and he couldn't cope. Maybe he was just sick of the daily grind. It's not uncommon for the currents to make body recovery impossible. |

I think it was a mistaken hit. There's an article out there that states the wife usually drove the car and dropped him off at work, since they only had one car. That leads me to believe that the killer was looking for someone else in that parking lot, since the white car Matt was driving wasn't ever parked, it was just used to drop him off.

I have two I can't choose between.
1) Blair Adams, because he was found so close to where I live and I've never been able to make sense of anything about his story. 2) Chaim Weiss, because I can't believe that after this long, we have no idea who did it, especially with so many people in the same building. It's baffling and heinous and I just really want to know. |

EDIT: I should mention that my opinion that Claude Moultin was involved or killed Maura is based only on what I know so far. I definitely could change my mind depending on other info. But, at this moment I think it's the most plausible scenario. I think dying in the woods from exposure or suicide would be 2nd on my list. But, the search dogs ability makes me think she or something of hers would have been found in the last 13 or so years. Nothing would suprise me at this point. This case will make your head spin. |
