^^ On top of that they totally butchered up Riptide. They sped up the theme song considerably, sped up some of the scenes in the episodes and used the present-day TV Land-like generic credits at the end of a scene on episodes.

So far they haven't messed with Ghost and Mrs Muir AFAICT

...aside from the occasional strange commercial break cuts in the middle of scenes or title sequence.

Unfortunately GetTV is no longer on our cable system. Antenna TV replaced it last December.

You'd rather have GetTV than Antenna TV?!!?!! I wish I could trade with you. I would pay good money to be able to get Antenna TV.

Looks like they just ran through the Stewart show twice. It seemed better than I remembered from when I was young. I thought it was just a saccharine family show, but now it seems that they were trying for "whimsy," as in the old My World and Welcome to It. When Stewart and John McGiver were on the screen they were able to hit that mark, but the rest of the cast really didn't seem to have any comedic ability at all.
I really wanted to see all of the episodes of The Jimmy Stewart Show and I assumed that I would eventually get to, but I guess it won't happen now unless I end up buying the DVD. I managed to view 8 of them. I enjoyed what I saw. I watched a little of Ensign O'Toole recently. Not worth waking up early for and not worth recording.

I don't get how Gettv can get Ensign O'Toole and yet Antenna TV had to scratch Farmer's Daughter.

Default Content Ratings?

This thread was started about Nanny and the Professor having a TV-PG content rating. One user on that thread assumed that it was the channel/network that assigns the content ratings to the programs airing on them.

Some time ago, I noticed that the mid-1970s TV series S.W.A.T. had a TV-14 content rating. What? A TV series from 1975 was given a TV-14?

Most pre-1980 TV series would usually get either a TV-G rating or a TV-PG rating, and anything from that era that would get a TV-14 rating are the feature movies (which are usually edited for content). At the time of its original airing, S.W.A.T. was considered to be the most violent show on television, even though the violence depicted on S.W.A.T. would actually be mild by today's television standards. Also, Hondo, a western series from late 1967, also has a TV-14 rating when it airs on GetTV.

I wonder what's so bad about S.W.A.T. and Hondo that they had to earn a TV-14 content rating?

"Stay Safe"? More like "Stay Sad".

SWAT is bad for kids. In fact that's what got it cancelled. It was pretty popular especially with the kids of that time. We'd go out and imitate them. Apparently it was too violent to be on TV in the 70's.

I watched Father Murphy yesterday I havent seen it in years. I really enjoyed Merlin Olsen.

FWIW: Father Murphy has the full end credits as a matter of fact I have yet to see a show on GETTV that did crunch credits so not sure why one would come on here and blatantly lie about it.
