The thing that really gets me is that once Marvin's trial starts, Mark and Debbie will finally be in the same room as Christi and Bobby for the first time in 20 years. (provided they come from California) But nothing will have been settled between them. Can you imagine how the Baskins will feel, wanting so badly to run accross the room and put their arms around their kids when in reality, Christi and Bobby will probably not even acknowledge them?
Worse yet, after 20 years of brainwashing, Bobby and Christi will probably back up all of Marvin's claims of abuse by the Baskins in court. Marvin's got a ton of family members on his side. And I have no doubt they have been helping feed the kids's probable hatred of their parents ever since they balied Marvin from jail. |

It's bad enough on its own what the Maples did, but the fact that other family members are sticking up for Marvin will make it even tougher for Bobby and Christi to see the Baskins' side of it. You tend to believe people you trust, especially if it's lots of different people. Even though like I said earlier, I think you usually have detailed memories by the time you're 5-6, the Maples probably brainwashed them even on stuff they DO remember about their initial lives. They probably managed to distort their perception of the happier few years they were at home in the late 80s. |

Does anyone know of any possible reunion between Bobby and Kristie and their parents?
