I put all of Tom's recent asshattery aside, and went and saw it tonight. I thought it was really cool, despite a few plot holes.

I saw War of the Worlds Saturday. Overall I liked it, but Spielberg is capable of better...or at least he used to be.

well, whatever backlash Tom had wasn't enough to keep the movie from making over $100 million opening weekend. Granted it fell short of Star Wars and Spiderman II, but a lot of people figured Gigli by the annoying overexposure of Tomkat.
