Hey nature guys! We love okapis around here, and here's another rare animal---or, at least, not well known at all in this country. Indeed, much like the okapi, I'd never even heard of this animal until I saw it in a zoo! It's the golden takin, from Asia.

And, being a big Greek mythology fan, something I think is so cool about this animal is that it's believed to have been the inspiration for the legend of the Golden Fleece! (not to be confused with the Golden Felice

)
