Bad examples there, Vanilla Ice and Tone Loc didn't exactly sustain successful careers, and what's the difference between having a special guest vocalist and Hammer using music from Prince and Rick James and Vanilla Ice using a Queen/David Bowie to help score a hit?

Beyonce KNOWS that her vocal abilities don't compare to Britney's... if she does do a duet with her it WILL BE to make herself look and sound better!... I bet Beyonce wouldn't do a duet with Christina Aguilera... she will blow Beyonce out of the water.
Beyonce and Matthew did not kick out 3 DC members. The first two left because they weren't happy with her dad managing the group. And they expected her to fire her own father. They should be used to her dad managing the group. I mean he's only been doing it since they were like 11 or 12 years old. And Pharrah and DC parted because Pharrah didn't come to 3 concerts. They didn't kick her out, she left. Because she wanted a solo career.

well, nowadays they're using guest vocalists AND samples at the same time. Pretty much every hit single Puff Daddy/P. Diddy's had has sampled hits of the 70's and 80's, and most of those have had guests too.

I love Beyonce, but Britney is by far my fav. so hell Id like a little duet.

As for J.Lo and her collaborations.. If I remember well, most of them started off by herself, and then they were made into 'remixes' Examples: Aint It Funny, Im Real, etc. All I Have was more of a duet.

Compaired to Britney, Beyonce could be considered the greatest singer of all time.
At least Britney knows she's not the greatest singer and doesn't try to convince us she is. She also doesn't stretch a two syllable word out for 20 minutes, with her constant runs. Beyonce really needs to learn that run after run does not make you a great singer, it just makes you incredibly annoying.

Callobarations annoy me.Almost every rap videos I see it says someone featuring ths guy or whatever.Pop songs too.

I wonder who allows all that manufacturing crap. It's not like there isn't real talented singers in the world.

BuffySlayer79 i like Beyonce's Me Myself & I song. That's a nice song. I also like her remake of Roberta Flack & Donny Hathaway's The Closer I Get To U song that she did with Luther Vandross on her cd.

I agree with that totally. Beyonce does have the makings of a great singer, but you can only take one syllable so far before people start getting annoyed with it. I sometimes read a message board that's most r&b/hip hop oriented, and even there, 90% of the posters were agreeing that Beyonce got on their last nerve on the Grammys when she performed Dangerously In Love
