Justin is an idiot. Janet just seemed desperate. Worst halftime show ever. Bunch of B and C list lip synching old songs. Justin's 15 minutes of fame are running out. Janet needs to spend time in Michael's panic room. Jessica Simpson...please...just go away....please....for the love of god....and take your ****** husband with you. Oooops. I'm sorry. I just insulted the ******* by lumping Nick in with them.

It's good that MTV won't have anything to do with the Superbowl Halftime show anymore. It seems like they have the same artist each time. If I remember correctly, on the last Superbowl, Aerosmith, Nelly, Justin Timberlake(he was with NSYNC then) and I think P Diddy performed. Why have they been performing at these games? I want to see some different performers.... SNL will probably do a skit about it.

I personally think media is making too big a deal over it. The FCC are really prudish. A boob is a boob!!

I mean, we saw a closeup of Kim Cattrall's vagina (using the formal word because I dunno if the other slangs for it are "allowed") on Sex And The City a few months ago, and you didn't see the FCC freaking out over it. Janet's breast is small potatoes compared to Kim's vagina.

Banning Janet and Justin from the Grammys is stupid, Justin is up for a bunch of awards and I don't think he should be banned from it because of the thing with Janet. If Justin won some Grammys (even tho I think we all know Outkast will win), he has the godgiven right to be able to accept his award.

Yes I know people say "it's supposed to be a family show" and everything, but if you ask me, I don't think Kid Rock (who did a VH1 promo last Christmas where he was on top of a chimney taking a dump.... sorry, I find that more revolting than nudity is) or P. Diddy are exactly ideal for a "family hour" setting either.

I agree. MTV doesn't quite have the relevance it had even 5 years ago, especially since it's not like they still show videos.

I heard Fuse (a rock version of MTV... at least for now) is going to do it next year. I hope they kick butt and makes MTV cringe because MTV has been garbage ever since they started treating reality shows as a bigger priority than actual music related programming (sorry, Newlyweds and The Osbournes do not count as "music programming")

I don't see Fuse producing a halftime show either, they feature a lot of videos from hard rock bands and I think Super Bowl people would even shy away from them. I'd bet more likely they'd do something with CMT, Country Music Television. They'd have presumably less "offensive" artists while at least maintaining a relationship with MTV since CMT is part of MTV Networks.

I love the "we must protect the children of the world" lines that have been thrown around in response to Janet.

(I would include Justin, but apparently his "apple pie smile" has convinced the world that he has to take no type of real responsibility for what happened...Didn't he disrupt the kids just as much as Janet? After all it was his hand that revealed the 'wardrobe malfunction')

BTW, anyone ever thought about what our kids are being exposed to just watching the wholesome fun of the super bowl (the actual game...not the halftime show).

So the Panthers kicker, John Kasay wasn't the only boob at the Superbowl.

I agree with the Other Fan, people who are upset for the children, are a little hippocritical or just ignorent. Why are their children watching a Football to begin with? Not only is it violent, I know that in the NFL, the players use obsene language on the field all the time. Not to mention the players off the field problems.

I heard John Kassey's excuse is that he couldn't get the halftime show out of his mind.

I could care less about a little boob on TV and kids see far worse in terms impressionable material everyday.

But I just don't like the idea of Janet Jackson thinking she can get over on CBS, MTV and the NFL and have a free publicity stunt.

She knew what she was doing and that there would be backlash-so she should pay accordingly- not for showing boob, but for purposely being a pain in the ass.

It is a bunch of bull, CBS, MTV, and the NFL, they knew what was going to happen. No matter what Jackson says. Besides, I think the boob was the least offensive part of the halftime show.

Look at how the other preformers conducted themselfs and the language they used. Nelly was grabbing his crotch, and Kid Rock was wearing the American flag as some so of puncho, that is on everybody, and no one can say CBS and the NFL knew nothing about that.

I love that line also. "we must protect the children" and show the guy who walks around naked on Survivor. Yes, let's protect the children. People need to get a grip and get off it. They are acting like they haven't seen a boob before. How many times have children walked in on their mother changing clothes. CBS, NFL, MTV and the FCC are full of crap! The FCC needs to watch tv more often and they'll see more then a boob.

I think Justin is liking the attention. He needs to keep his mouth close if he's going to change his story each time a different reporter talks to him. One moment he said it was to give the people something to talk about and last night I heard him say he was appalled and shocked and that he was trying to cover her up.

I saw that part on the halftime show 2 weeks ago. I know that Justin would let Janet Jackson off of his back. I saw it on the news at one time in which Janet doesn't show bosoms on live TV.
