No, it wasn't that. It was the fact that they filmed close ups seperate from the rest of the show and they didn't remind those actors that they were laughing in the big scene and it is so obvious that the scenes weren't shot at the same time. You see, they shot the close ups after the audience had left. So the ambiance wasn't there anymore.

Splain, they're DIFFERENT PEOPLE, not just different expressions on their faces. When they show that area of the Tropicana during the baby song part, those people aren't even there.
