I think moving it to Times Square in late 1997 is what did it in. Which coincided with the premiere of TRL.

The only good part of MTV is the 3 minutes some mornings when they decide to play the video of "Stacey's Mom".

I also enjoy Road Rules and the challenges, but when they air an episode, they replay it like 30974965 times during the week. They also need to stop creating so many reality shows. If it only had like 4 or 5, I wouldn't mind.

Stop complaining. turn to MTV 2 for videos. Don't get that channel? you probably will in the future. I didnt have it but then it just appeared last week.

I don't think anyone's really complaining. The question was asked, what do you think of MTV, and people are giving their responses, that's all. Just like when you don't like something, you probably say it sucks. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, and my opinion is that MTV SUCKS!!!

I've been watching it for so many years that I can't seem to give up on the Real World even though it is dreadfully boring this season (Paris). That's about all I watch on there though. MTV has gone down hill big-time.

MTV is much more into the overall pop culture theme, MTV | 2, is like what they say, all about the music. I like both channels.
