Still,though,he could've/should've stayed in school on loans and grants(thats how I did it)and he and Thelma coulda got a little apt on or around campus.They both could go to school and work part time,but I guess they rather be in that depressing little apartment with one bathroom and feel sorry for himself.

they all needed to pitch in whatever money they had to make ends meet and pay off the rent and the bills and so forth. but u have to remember, this was all works of fiction. does it have to make sense?
