I really enjoyed him in Slingblade.

I grew up watching him on Three's Company, and he was easily the funniest person I'd ever seen. Absolute comic genius. He never failed to make me laugh so hard I had to wipe away a few tears. But it wasn't just his physical performances and wit that made me a fan, it was that he was a down-to-earth, real person.. with no air of being better than anyone else just because he made a lot of money and was popular.

Thanks, John.

Although we never met, I always considered you a friend. R.I.P. my friend.
same here. I would watch TC, and I would turn from sad to happy.

I love John because he is a very talented actor in both comedy and drama. I don't think there's a lot of actors out there who can really do both! He makes me laugh so much on Three's Company and now 25 years later was still good on 8SR. He really makes me laugh OUT LOUD. Not very many people can do that to me! I will miss him a lot.

I have an idea. In honor of John's birthday, I say we all throw him a big birthday party on the random board, or if that doesn't work, an aim chat, but I say the random board. What do you all think?

John was just a brilliant comedian. He has talents that weren't seen since Lucille Ball and I personally think we will never see anyone else like John Ritter. He will be greatly missed and TV will never be the same again.

Goodbye John, we will miss you.

John was multitalented. I instantly fell in love with 3's Company when I first saw it on N@N. I've even taped so many episodes. He's a great wonderful comedian, but he's done so many other types of shows too. He's more than proved through the years that he excels in everything on TV and in the movies that he has done. I've never met him but heard and read enough about him to feel that he was truly a wonderful human being as well. He will always be well thought of and highly missed by all.

A few years ago I was obsessed with Three's Company so this comes as a shock to me. John Ritter was hilarious on the show and I enjoy some of the movies he's been in. He seemed like a really nice guy and was a great actor. I'll definitley miss him.

John was incredible, never failing to make us laugh no matter what he did. He was brilliant and such a talented entertainer. As Jack on TC, he was a huge part of why the show always felt so safe and so happy to me. Things always turned out okay on TC, and the reason was the great humor and how beautifully he brought it all to life. He will be greatly missed.

I believe everyone who ever watched a Three's Company episode is truly saddened today. We lost a man that made is laugh in such an easy way at the same gag over and over. To think that RF lived longer than Jack Tripper is shocking. Goodbye Jack, The Regal Beagle has lost its greatest customer.

Hi everyone.
I apologize that it is such a sad occasion for me to come, but I do hope this little tribute I made will help someone who is missing John Ritter.

There are so many nice things to say about John were do I start. I am 33 years old and remember seeing John on Threes Company when I was 9 ever since then I was hooked and my family watched it every week. I love John Ritter he is the most talented actor there is and so funny. He keep me company and kept me laughing everyweek. When I was in the 6th grade my best friend Jamie and I were crazy about John and always went to school the next day saying ," did you watch Threes Company last night?" Because at this time they had it on in my area 2 times a day and the regular time slot. Well my friend always wanted to meet him, but she died of Multiple Sclerosis a year after we were out of highschool. I hope Jamie is getting the chance to meet John now that would make her so happy. I want to thank you John for bringing so much joy and laughter to everyone you touched you truley are a wonderful person I will always love you and be a true fan. Rest in peace John.

Default Forever John

I loved Threes Company when it originally aired on the 70's. John was a very handsome young man. His talent shined through his laughter. Seeing him in 8 simple rules was such a treat. Still adorable as ever John captured our hearts and smiles as he appeared on television. John, we love you and will never forget you! Thanks to the wonderful technology of reruns, John will never be forgotten!
