well, I just want Nancy to commit to it because this is the perfect time to reunite. All of them are still healthy and the show has picked up a whole new audience of fans thinks to Nick At Nite. Right now, Facts "nostalgia" is very hot so it'd be the right time to get back together. Plus, Charlotte Rae is not getting any younger (she is 74 years young). Not trying to be morbid, but you never know how much longer she will be around.

Nancy might hate being typecast as Jo. But I don't think she realizes just how much people love Jo. She is busy and may have "outgrown" the show, but it's not like she is Tom Hanks (Bosom Buddies), Denzel Washington (St. Elsewhere) or Bruce Willis (Moonlighting) who seriously has enough box office and "name" clout that they don't need to go back and do a tv reunion of their old tv shows.

I dunno. I respect Nancy for maintaining a career and everything since The Facts, but still... I don't think she realizes just how well-loved Jo is.

For many people,no matter what she has done or will do,Nancy will always be Jo.I think she's a good actress and performer, but when enough people see you in one role they cannot see you in another role and completely forget the earlier role.

(That's why Ron Howard and others continued their film careers on the other side of the camera.)

I loved Jo and saw loads of FOL episodes, but that show is in rerun heaven now,and maybe there are some shows that cannot be revived because they are products of their time.(The producer of Family Ties said there would be no reunion for that show, since it was a show of the 80s.)

Nancy Mckeon is not selfish! when she wanted a raise, she deserved it! dont you see how the ratings went up when she joined the cast? she raised the ratings, therefore she rightfully deserved that raise. the show needed to add some spice to it, and jo (nancy) was it. if the character jo wasnt created, then i think the series would have probably been short lived. i mean werent the first season eps just a bit boring? would you have kept watching it if they just kept the same cast? they were just, well they got along most of the time, and there were no big fights like someone is mad at someone else because they heard someone did something. that didnt start until 2nd season. and i heard that nancy is gonna be in the reunion, she just has to decide if she wants to be dead or alive.

Hello,

As to Nancy being selfish, I don't really think that's the case. I also believe that she has moved past FOL. I am disappointed that she doesn't want to do the movie, and Kim Fields as well. I hope that they don't kill any of the characters,(although if one did die, that would be a "sad" excuse(sorry the pun) to get everyone back together.

In other news, this may be Lisa(Blair's) chance to get back to acting. I know she's said that she wanted to go back to acting eventually, this may be her perfect opportunity to get back into the spotlight.

Who knows what's going to happen or if they're going to do it at all. I just hope that they don't kill any members of the cast off or use a new actress for one of the cast.

When a new actor is used, it disrupts the unity of the cast. I remember in the Brady Bunch movies, a new Marsha, Jan or Cindy changed the whole dynamic of the show. Please don't do that to FOL.

Take care everyone
Amy

Has it been decided yet whether or not Nancy will be dead or alive...? If it hasn't why don't we write her agent and explain to them how much the show meant to us and how much 'Jo' meant as well. It couldn't hurt, and if you all agree to this I will post the adress as soon as possible.

Blair: I don't get it. There is a guy downstairs completly ignoring me.
Jo: And they said it couldn't be done.

Nancy sent someone a reply stating that she (Jo) was not going to die in the movie.

Well AMEN to that! The movie just wouldn't be the same without her. I hope she appears in it just as often as the rest and that Jo and Blair get into it like old times! I'm happy now that it has been decided that Jo won't die! now hopefully Kim Fields will return!

You guys, there are different opinions going around about the movie and at this point we really don't know whats going to happen. Let's just wait until we find out more information so we don't put ideas into anyones heads. She might die, she might not....who knows....lets just forget it until we find more info.

I am normally a HUGE Nancy McKeon fan, but I have to agree that she is being selfish. Why can't she at least make a brief cameo appearance? Elizabeth Berkeley made a 30-second appearance at the wedding reception in the Saved By The Bell reunion movie because she was working on other projects and could not make the entire movie.

Red face

Sarah, Nancy has agreed to make a cameo, we just don't know if it will be in a coffin or not-hopefully not. There is supposedly a chance she will be in the whole move, schedule premitting.

Thumbs up

Silver, we don't get 'too' into our shows, we would just love to see the whole cast back together. Especially Nancy because to most people 'Jo made the show'.
I personally don't want anyone to replace Nancy as Jo because that wouldn't feel right. It's Nancy's decision though and I will respect it.
I still would love to see her in it though

Jo: You're right. It's my place to say so.

. i really dont care about Jo so im not in this one. I meen I have to agree shes selfish for threatining to leave the show if they dont raise the salary. To me if I was the director I wouldnt raise it. I would fire her. Shes not relly important and SHE DOES NOT RUN THE SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!! only the four original characters do. Mrs.G, Blair, Tootie, and Natalie. ( Well mrs g leeaves) And ruin her new type? ( Laughs hard ) Nancy thinks that will ruin her! Nancy got her "so called famous career" from The facts of lIfe! and this is how she repays tghe show by being in a cffin during the reuniuin? Well Please!
