The Towering Inferno was on AMC yesterday, and I watched the whole darn thing. A very entertaining movie.

The Towering Inferno.

Gregory Sierra was in it.

Besides that, Steve McQueen and Paul Newman made a great team. This movie is just so hard to watch now in light of 9/11, but the action was intense and the acting solid. Irwin Allen really knew how to make a disaster flick - before CGI!!

Neither have I. I've never seen the remake, either - probably because I have a fear of large bodies of water/boats.

I seen the remake it was pretty good and it's not a long movie like you'd expect it to be.
