LOL, I totally agree with that!

Of course, I'm not against self-protection (hello, I'm a 21 year old college girl) I carry mase with me in my purse, but it's a defensive weapon. Thankfully, I've never needed to use it. But too many accidents happen with guns in the house. If my little brother had found a gun when he was 4 or 5... well, I don't think I need to finish that sentance.

i have a sword beside my bed
a nice sharp katana the could definately get rid of a bugaler, and if that didn't work there are always guns

That's called murder. Even in self-defense, I know I couldn't live with myself if I'd taken another person's life. Okay, so you don't shoot him, you just threaten him. What if he has a gun? Or what if he finds your gun before you wake up? I'm sorry, I'm not trying to freak you out at all, and I of course, thank God that you're alright, but I don't believe purchasing a gun is going to solve any problems.
I wouldn't shoot him, unless he had a gun and pointed it at me. that is the only way I would shoot anyone. And if he did surrender his weapon, I would then place him under citizens arrest.

Red face crime high

In my neighbourhood, crime is getting higher cos more new houses seem to be built and younger people are moving and bringing trouble. These nighbourhood 'commitee meetings' deals with every other problem but these people. When they're thrown out of their house part of the old convent in the town is rented to them- and cos msot are on benefits they pay like £15 to stay a week. The law seems like a joke- last year too an old lady was robbed across the road- moths before she was in the paper for stopping a robbery cos she recognised the guns were fake when thieves tried to rob the bookies she worked at. But she gave over her jewellry when they robbed her house fearing they'd hit her, but the thieves left the stuff in a panic. Then a few weeks ago another girl with young children across the road heard ppl get in thru her upstairs window from the garage. I just think it's evil and sick.
