Ha! Ha! I just read over that comment and found it funny. There is truth to it though.

Didn't see that one, but the Growing Pains one was pretty bad. They're never good. The point is just to see the people again.

The Growing Pains reunion movie was corny as hell. Didnt like it one bit. ALthough it did like seeing the cast again after all these years. Thats just about it!

that sux so bad! reunion movies always suk, so im used to that, but its cool to see the characters again after so long. if jo n tootie arent going to be in it, then what is the point of a reunion? Who knows? if jo n tootie dont appear in the movie then it might get bad ratings and they might take FOL off the air! that would suk.

They should just do what L&S did. Have the cast members come back and talk about what it was like doing the show and show a ton of clips. (Someone said something about having fans ask questions, and that's a great idea too)

"Well that would be pretty stupid considering your name's Shirley!" -Laverne

Hey Laverne, that is a good idea!
A reunion movie is risky(just look at the Growing Pains reunion) but if it's well written, then they should give it a whirl. Actually, the writers could do a good job with Jo's death(hopefully), if done right. Let's just all hope..

Ok, I wasn't going to comment on the Reunion stuff anymore......but, I must add that it will be awfully difficult to watch any more FOL if Jo does 'die.' How can I laugh at any of Jo's comebacks to Blair when I know that Jo died at such a young age in the reunion movie?

Tootie: Muffy? Her name is Muffy? What kind of person is named Muffy?

Jo: Beats me, Tootie.

Good point, Michele. However, I think that the effects of the reunion show on my viewing patterns will be short-lived. Initially, I may not have fun watching the show anymore. But down the road, nobody will remember the reunion show. Good example would be the Mary & Rhoda reunion (it sure sucked!). At first, I wasn't into watching old reruns of Rhoda or MTM, thinking what's the point, since they end up not speaking for like 15 years or something. After a couple of months, the whole plot of the reunion has escaped my mind, and I can now go back to watching reruns the way they were meant to be seen. Sounds kind of wierd, but think about it this way: when you see a Brady Bunch episode, do you think of Greg as a doctor or Marsha as an alcoholic? Of course not.

Ah, the not short-lived enough "Brady's" hour long drama. Let's hope nobody ever tries THAT again. However, it is one of the funniest things I've ever seen and I usually watch it if I know it's going to be on. Marcia the alcoholic. Correction, FAKE Marcia. In a show like that you can handle replacement characters because there were a lot of them. But in the FOL movie 2 out of 5? That's a little more than 1 out of 9. Let's face it, if they do make a reunion movie it'll probably be bad, but we will get to see some more of the characters we loved. Let's just hope they don't have Blair turn into an alcoholic or have Jo become paralyzed in a tragic race car accident like Bobby Brady.

Personally I dont mean to offend you all but I think that you are all depending on one interview to decide. this person (no offense) could just be making it up to get attention. Did anyone els see it? I think that if it is true that we should do something, like flood the acctresses with mail and e-mail and beg them to do it!!!!!!!!

"Tootie" I just like saying that. "Tootie"

Um, hello I'm not making it up...I got my information from a good tv source. I also live close to Hollywood, so I get a lot of information because I have a lot of connections. If you don't believe me fine, but I know what I read.

Oh my god, I remember that... I actually have them on tape somewhere, directly from 1990, but I don't know where. Anyway you know what we should do?? watch nancy's intimate portrait fri. night because i just caught the commercial for it last night (finally!!) and it said how "the facts of life was her biggest breakthrough..." and obviously thats what she'll talk about alot ~ so keep your ears open for any talk about a reunion!

------------------
tootie: my grade? how 'bout we keep it between you and me? (sticks her poem down her shirt) nobody'll ever find it here!

Natalie: A D-? But that's below my favorite C level!!

Jo: You're born, you grow some, you die. That's life.

natalie: if shes so smart she can type the whole damn thing!

nancy: how about something to make you cold, hot stuff?
