Another Eddie moment I love is the scene where he and Wally meet up with Beaver, after Beav lost the doll carriage, and Eddie doesn't tease the Beaver and actually offers to help get the carriage back. Then after Beaver leaves, Wally asks him about it, and Eddie tells the story about how when he was young, his sitter gave him a perm, and everyone laughed at him. I just love this scene, because it shows Eddie being very genuine. And I loved it at the end when Wally teased him that the perm lasted a long time. LOL
There's this one NLITB episode I want to see really badly again (well, all of them actually!), that kinda explores Wally and Eddie's friendship. It starts off with Eddie promising to get Wally a new air-conditioner for his house (since Eddie is the contractor that works on Wally's home), and he gets this cheap version that doesn't work. I don't remember what else happens, but Wally gets SO mad at Eddie and actually chases him down, and they both go sliding on Kevin's Slip-n-Slide, and Wally's got a hold on Eddie's neck, and Eddie's turning all blue under the water, and some members of the family are protesting, although I'm sure Beaver was happy. So then Eddie promises to get Wally his money back and an air-conditioner that works, but Wally doesn't trust him, and decides to go with him. And all the time, he's thinking "Why am I friends with this guy????" So they are on the road together in Eddie's truck, and Eddie's ticking him off left and right. I think Wally tried to listen to some music, and Eddie kept turning it off, because he doesn't like 80s music, and starts to sing the Beatles, which makes Wally even madder. Then they pass this woman who's hitchhiking on the road, and to Wally's protest, Eddie stops for her. She pulls out a gun and makes them give her all their stuff, including their wallets and clothes, and she takes off in the truck. So Wally and Eddie are abandoned on the highway wearing only their underwear. I think Wally was wearing a tank undershirt and regular (maybe striped?) boxers, but Eddie was wearing a t-shirt and boxers with hearts all over them, and his socks were actually held up by these garter type thingies. They were so funny!!! But we got to see how skinny Ken Osmond really is. I can't remember what else happened, but somehow Wally, who was ticked off more than ever, started noticing that Eddie never gives up and maybe some other good things about him, and the show ends with them walking down the highway together, in their underwear, both singing the Beatles. It was so cute!!!!!! I really wish some station would show this series again!!!!

Ward picks up the phone.
WARD: Hello? EDDIE: Hey Wally, did you get that crazy flat tire fixed before your old man came home and caught you? WARD: What tire is that Eddie? EDDIE: Oh...uh...Hello Mr. Cleaver. WARD: Hello Eddie...What's new? EDDIE: Oh, nothing sir. I have to go now, I think I hear my mother calling me Thanks for refreshing my memory about that episode. I haven't seen that one in years. Somehow I guess my timing is off. But what you wrote is definitely my favorite part of that episode. You got a good laugh out of me. |

The best Eddie Haskell moment is when a girl is making fun of Beaver in class and Eddie teaches him how to insult her back. Classic!!!

At the end of the credit card episode Eddie is worried that he will lose Wally's friendship and nobody believes him. June Ward and Beaver discuss how Eddie must be up to something and then Eddie goes to talk to Wally and asks if they are still friends. Wally tries to find out what Eddie really wants and Eddie is upset that Wally doesn't realize that Eddie cares so much about the friendship. A very serious and good Eddie moment.
