DNA convicted him right? Looks like the co-worker has been located alive and well. The girlfriend case file says there was blood in Vick's vehicle that is has to be tested for a match to her. Looks like he had something to do with her disappearance.

That's correct. Michelle Laurel Whitaker was found alive in 2008.

I just saw Michelle Whitaker's case profiled on Disappeared. Boy was I surprised when they found her alive! The lady had a tough life. It was a good reminder to NEVER blame a rape victim for her attack, and to have compassion for those with substance abuse problems. I'm not saying that running away and cutting off contact with her family was a good solution to her problems, but it seemed like she was able to make a pretty peaceful life for herself far from her family. I hope they are able to patch things up.

You probably already know but Michelle Whitaker was found. Her episode was also on Disappeared 'The last truck stop'.
