Get TV blocking home recordings

Here is my setup:
Dish with DVD recorder
Channel 373- Direct National feed- GetTV
Channel 14- Local OTA feed- Denver- GetTV

I recorded on both and play back normal, with no errors.


If it's only happening on GeTTV- For what ever reason the local affiliate may have DRM (Digital rights managment) turned on which will prevent it being recorded- If that is the case, much like on some Dish channels when you record using HDMI through a DVD recorder, try using composite connections instead- that is what I did to record through my DVD recorder to bypass the DRM. It's not HD but at least I can record if I need to. Another thing you can do is connect your DVD recorder to someone that has a direct OTA connection for GETTV in your area, to troubleshoot if its the local affiliate or your cable company.

Hmm this is interesting, I'm still able to record GetTV with my Tivo Roamio DVR, I have an OTA antenna.
