Richard Bare's sister is under the delusion that he did not do what he's accused of. She must think that Sherry Hart beat herself over the head and then pushed herself off that cliff. Makes perfect sense.

I remember that Bare had been believed to be hiding at a relative's house years after his escape from jail. He was so violent towards Sherry, even before he murdered her, that it's difficult to believe that he hasn't committed similar attacks on other women since his escape.

Not sure about Bare (wouldn't surprise me), but I absolutely believe this about Cline. It's a damn shame he's eluded capture for almost 50 years.

I don't know if they actually appeared on the Unsolved Mysteries segment, but Alex Kelly's parents helped him evade justice for years.

Every immediate family member of JonBenét Ramsey (father, mother, aunt, brothers, sister, possibly others) knows what happened to her and are covering for a family member, probably Burke.

Never bought the whole Cedric vs. Frederick Young thing. No one waits a YEAR and then when he realizes during his trial that he is going to be convicted all of the sudden say "Oh yeah, I was never there, it MUST have been my twin brother all along." I think his buddy Chris Ross lied for him, not that it worked, but he tried. Cedric and Fred's mother seemed to think the wrong son was in jail as well. I think she is probably more naive than she was covering for her incarcerated son.
