They still are! I was looking forward to the January schedule. Not only did Antenna have several shows I already liked, they are adding a lot more and finally getting rid of most of the Norman Lear shows. Can't see any of it now because of my lousy affiliate taking Antenna away. Yes they crunch credits but get singled out way too much on this board. Almost all TV stations today crunch credits, Antenna is hardly alone on that. And they don't go off the clock either to add more commercials like the Viacom networks and others.

I'm not interested in most of GetTV's schedule, but earlier this year I recorded their airings of the Peter Loves Mary show, and I'm glad I recorded them because they yanked the show off the schedule after running it for only 8 weeks. That's another thing I dislike about GetTV, they mess with their schedule too much. I do like some of the old Christmas specials they are airing this month, that's a good thing.

Antenna TV isn't perfect either but I think they're overall a decent channel. I have to give them two thumbs up for airing The Joey Bishop Show, including the 1st season shows that hadn't been seen since they originally aired. If only the shows would air uncut, but I guess that's too much to ask. The Antenna TV airings of Joey Bishop Show are better than nothing unless the complete series gets issued on DVD. In my opinion, putting The Joey Bishop Show on their schedule was by far the best thing Antenna TV did in 2017.

But it seems to me that Antenna TV is gradually transitioning to a 1980's and 1990's sitcom channel. Most of the new shows they're adding for 2018 are from that time frame. As time goes along, wouldn't surprise me if the more recent sitcoms become the focus of their schedule, and less focus on the older sitcoms from the 50's, 60's and 70's.

Then maybe they should change their slogan from "TV how it was meant to be" to "TV the way it is now ".

Still sad they took it away from you though

WBIN 50.1 changed to the Justice Network as of Thursday afternoon. So unfortunately Boston is now without an Antenna TV affiliate.

Logo, which hacks away one or two of the same shows Antenna airs or have aired, is worse.

You would need to contact the station and ask them that question.

Seriously?!

Good luck getting an answer from the station. They transfer you to a "programming person", you get their voicemail, and they don't call you back.

You might have better luck using the "contact us" icon of their website (I did.)
