I watched THEEE ORIGINAL DEGRASSI on PBS. This is back in the 70's!!!!!!These are the episodes I want to see. Does anyone know if these are going to be shown? Are they available on DVD? I was shocked (in that era) with the topics that were being shown.

Do you mean the Kids of Degrassi Street? I was wondering that as well.

hmmmm...the title I remember is Degrassi Jr. High, it could have been called something else on another PBS station. But maybe it is the same one. Like I said, this is the original, the start of this series. I used to watch this along with ZOOM back in the 70's.

Kids on Degrassi Street was the start of the series, that one started in the 70's. Degrassi Jr High began in the 80's. I remember they did show DJH and DH as well, but they showed them around 6pm.

DJH started in 1987 and Degrassi High I think was 1989.I was kinda young than but I watch them now on The N and like it so much better than TNG..

I just finished taping the entire series a few weeks ago.it currently airs on bcb kids!

One of my favorite scenes of Degrassi Junior High is when Yick is trying to teach Arthur karate and he accidentally kicks the janitor.

when I was younger I use to watch some show on Nickelodeon I know it had a lot of drama. Just can't remember what it was called. It may have been the original degrassi but not sure. I would have to see a few episodes of degrassi to determine. It was back in the later 80's and early 90's.

I have most of the DJH and DH episodes on tape. I grew up watching this show. It was always on Monday nights at 8:00 on CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation).

This is the one show that I can remember every episode vividly. I haven't seen an episode of Kids of Degrassi, I was too young during the time it originally aired.

I read somewhere it was suppose to be September but obviously it wasn't true. I'd like to know when as well.

I am with ya it's bugging me too. Degrassi The Original will always be the better Degrassi.I hope there will be word on DHS soon.

I emailed "WGBH" to inquire about (Degrassi High) and when will it be released and they responded back with this; and so now I'm happy to know it's coming.

Good News, though tempting I am not sure if I will buy the set since I have most of the episodes on tape. If the set sells for under $30 and has some nice bonus material, I probably will buy it.
