Me either. I must have missed something. What did Wimbledon have to do with Max and Barbara kissing.

The pronouncing Wimbledon thing was just a plot device to get Barbs face up close to Maxs', moving her lips around, thus turning him on. (I'm a tennis fan, I know the correct way to say it, but I still call it Wimbleton)

I know!!!! Thinking logically with my head , Barbara and Max should never get together. ( as per my last post) ! But thinking with my heart, (I'm a hopeless romantic) , I would really like to see them hook up!!

Barbara can't have children, but if she could her and Max would have the cutest baby together!!

OMG what if it ended up she did have an affair with Max and she came up pregnant by , the 1 % chance that she might be able to have a child, and she didn't know if the baby were Mark's or Max's !!!!

Now for the joke answer.

OK, seriously. I obviously won't be as in depth as Bonnie, but after the initial anger, and there better be a lot of initial anger, throwing Fred and Julie in Max's face, Mark comes to realize it was Max's loneliness that made him do it. The two(or three) of them talk it out, and in the end Max and Annie stay.

Now if anyone wants to talk about Mark finding out Barbara liked the kiss, we can have that conversation too...

Grandma was so right. Mark should only have found out about this kiss in a letter to be opened after Barbara's death. If I were Mark I couldn't imagine getting past the fact that my beloved wife and brother in law turned each other on. It would always be a weird issue between us. Max was such a creep to kiss her and put that issue between them. I don't blame Barbara, she was taken by surprise and did the right thing given the circumstances. In any event they were both lucky that Dr. Royer didn't suspect a thing. Some things you are better off NOT knowing. I wonder why they saved that story for the second to last episode, it seemed like kind of a complicated theme to explore just before the end. Man, I wish Ann hadn't gotten that out of nowhere job offer in London so they could have run another season to see what happened to the characters.

Meanwhile, opus, Dustin Hoffman is my favorite actor but I haven't had a chance to catch Marathon Man yet. I will have to check it out.

Well, if anyone was an expert in letters from dead people potentially admitting to affairs, it was K-K-K-Katy.

Max retaliates and decides to get rid of Mark once and for all so he can have his beloved Beulah all to himself! He forces Mark to eat a massive amount of strawberries and throws away Mark's EpiPen and Eloise's phone# ,being she is the one who knows the secret remedy when Mark has a bad reaction to his strawberry allergy !!!
