I've watched Family Ties since it first aired. I was 6 when the show began but I had older sisters who watched it so I began watching every week with them. It was and still remains one of my all time fave sitcoms from the 80s, if not of all time.

Everytime I watch an episode is brings me back to the 80s and my childhood.

Default First Family Ties

When i was a little kid. I started watching "Family Ties" when it used to come on WTTG Channel 5 Washington. It used to come on along with "Silver Spoons", "Small Wonder", "Gimme a Break" and all that.

I remember the episode that I first saw...The one where Elise is on stage singing, and she went into labor. I remeber I was young and was into watching the Facts of Life and I started to watch Family Ties after seeing this episode. I am not sure if I even knew the show existed before that episode.
