I saw that article, this one, right? http://www.retrojunk.com/content/article/37316/index/, very well written and completely on the mark. Some of these bands were very popular and very influential. I'm old enough to remember the early-mid 80s when Journey was the most popular band who even had a computer game. The Moody Blues were of course highly influential.
