You Again? - 80's sitcom, starred a young
John Stamos and an old Jack
Klugman

Out of Control - not really a sitcom, more
of a kids news show on
nickelodeon for a short time
but Dave Coullier hosted!

oh, i got plenty more, those are just a few of the best, i thought.

Okay, I've heard of Hank! It was one of the ones Garry Marshall created, right? And so was Me and the Chimp...in his autobiography he always mentions the "ill-fated me and the chimp" but doesn't mention what it was about. Has anyone seen Hey Landlord? It was on in the 60's (I've never seen it, but it was a Garry Marshall series that lasted 36 episodes) and it was about....huh. I just finished his book for the second time today and I forgot about it already... I LOVED the show Baby Talk! It was so cute! Okay, I'm finished now... Wait! Does anyone remember On Our Own (I think that's what it was called). It was on TGIF I think 5, 6, maybe 7 years ago and it was about a black family. It reminded me a little of Step by Step...

Just remembered one of my favorite "Obscure" sit-coms... Eric Idle (of Monty Python fame) in "Nearly Departed... the story of a dead english couple who haunt a house that is now occupied by Americans. Anyone seen it?

I remember a short-lived sitcom on Fox, that appeared in the early or mid-90s, that was VERY obscure. I don't remember the name of the show, but the general plot line centered around the fact that there was a nuclear holocaust, and the lead character survives because he was in a Volvo or something, and the "running joke" of the pilot is that Volvos can survive the impact of a Nuclear Holocaust or some nonsense like that. Then the lead character wonders around, and finds some shack. There, he finds five or six other people, and they presume that they are the only people on the planet to have survived. Does anyone else remember this show? I know it only lasted half a season at the most, but it was on Sunday nights in the 9:30/8:30 CST timeslot.

THe show was called "WHOOPS!", and they tried to market in in just about every way possible... they tried to convince people it was the next Gilligans Island. Then they tried to say it was a sci-fi comedy. Then they decided it would be precautionary tale... I tell ya, I think they had more marketing concepts than they had actual episodes of the show!

I hesitate to post in this thread, but sadly the "obscure" adjecture applies...

Does anyone remember "My Living Doll"? This sitcom is from the early '60's. It stars the beautiful Julie Newmar as a "robot" built by the army. Some army dude got to bring her home and teach her about being human.

I never saw it again after the first run. I wish some channel would bring it back.

Domestic Life - aired on CBS in 1984 for about 10 episodes. Martin Mull starred and sang the theme song. Christian Brackett-Zika, Megan Follows, and Hoyt Axton were in it as well...

In some cases, it's good that a sitcom was never heard from again. One such sitcom is "Rango" which stunk to high Heaven despite the fact that starred the very talented Tim Conway in the title role.

If any execs from the cable channels are lurking, please let this stay dead.

I remember a short-lived show call "Star of The Family." Brian Dennehy (The Fighting Fitzgeralds) played the father of a female teenage country singer. He spent episodes trying to make her life as normal as possible, if I can recall. It aired around the early 1980's.

Jennifer Slept Here. In ran for less than a year in 1984. It starred Ann Jillian as the ghost of a famous movie star and Glenn Scarpelli as the boy she always followed around.
