You would thnk they know the ramifications of firing the main attraction.

This isn't a move of bravado or ego on the part or Lorre or Warner Bros.

They know the show is basically done without him.

It's almost as if there is some altruism in the move.
At least on behalf of the staff so they can find new work- and not be left to the whim of Sheen.

There is no way a reasonable person can stand behind Sheen.

The show is already in it's 8th year. It only has a few more years anyway. They will still make millions off it in syndication. He wasn't worth putting up with anymore.

Then deal with the ramifications of your actions. I'm sure when the dust settles and hopefully clears, he's going to be real happy about being restricted from seeing his kids, it's every parent's dream by the way.

Let me share a story of what one poisonous co-worker can do to an entire staff...how it can affect every worker involved. When someone who is exhibiting erratic behavior - it can create a very fearful working environment, no matter what line of work one is in.

A few years ago, I had a co-worker who exhibited extremely erratic behavior (I highly suspect she may have been manic depressive or bipolar) - and things got so bad that I dreaded coming into the office every day. I didn't speak to her unless I absolutely had to - and her behavior was affecting others in our department as well. Since I had to work the closest with her (we were the two assistant admins in our department), I was on the receiving end of the lion's share of her erratic behavior. Thankfully, she worked the 8 AM-4:30 PM shift and I handled the 11:30 AM-8 PM shift so the latter part of my day was a breeze. This went on for about 3 1/2 months.

Finally, I came in one Monday morning and was told the girl had quit. I highly suspect she was within an eyelash of being canned (I had confided in our immediate supervisor and kept her posted every day after the other girl had already gone home after her shift) and just beat them to the chase. To be fair, the girl was going through a lot of personal problems at the time (her parents were undergoing a very acrimonious divorce, and since she was the only child, she kept getting stuck in the middle). She could be very sweet, cheerful and docile one minute and be a raging thundercloud the next. Since we shared a very tiny office, it was like walking through a minefield. You never knew what would set her off.

After she left, I had to do all the work of two people, and it was totally exhausting. To keep up, I was working 11 hour days...and that period of October 2007-January 2008, when they got another assistant who worked out is one big blur. When the immediate crisis passed, I had a mini-breakdown. So much so that I was having nightmares, I couldn't eat, and dreaded coming into the office even though I knew full well this girl wasn't there. Long story short, my weight plummeted to under 100 lbs. and my mother had to take me to the doctor because I was too weak to drive myself. The doctor threatened to put me in the hospital and hook me up to a feeding tube if I didn't put weight back on myself.

So I did, I got back over 100 lbs. and things got smoother as time went on. But the destructive actions of one co-worker can make a ripple effect on the rest of the people around them. So I have a bit of an inkling on what the staff of this show might be going though.

Charlie Sheen has blasted his former bosses at “Two and a Half Men” after they fired him on Monday afternoon.

In his first interview since learning the news, Sheen told Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush that his former bosses at Warner Bros. Television, which produces the show, did not contact him to break the news – he found out via technology.

“I got a text or something. Here’s another thing — these guys are such yellow cockroaches that they didn’t even have the decency to call me. I put 5 bill[ion] in their cheap suit pockets and another half a bil’ in what’s-his-cheese’s pockets and this is the f***ing respect I get?” Sheen told Bush. “It’s just deplorable and they should be ashamed of themselves!”

Sheen blamed his firing – not on his recent media onslaught – but on his former bosses not understanding the actor.

“Whatever. I guess if you can’t process a guy, or realize his value, you must terminate him,” Sheen told Bush. “That’s real high-brow thinking, really evolved thinking. I don’t know. It is what it is. I’m more worried about my children [Bob and Max] right now than any of this nonsense, you know.”

Sheen confirmed to Bush that he plans to move forward with potential legal action against his bosses for breach of contract.

“I think that they realized that,” Sheen said. “They exercised such a cheap move and [this is] so silly and so transparent and… it’s so juvenile. It is the work of infants. It is the work of silly infants and it’s just — if this is what it had to come to, to get me out of those silly shirts, then so be it. So maybe I’ll wear one, just on the final day when I go and remove all of their bazillions.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, on Monday afternoon, Warner Bros. Television, which produces “… Men” confirmed they had fired Sheen.

“After careful consideration, Warner Bros. Television has terminated Charlie Sheen’s services on ‘Two and a Half Men,’ effective immediately,” the statement read.

The news was annoucned just weeks after CBS and Warner Bros. Television pulled the plug on the remainder of the “Two and a Half Men” season after Sheen made a series of radio rants.

“Based on the totality of Charlie Sheen’s statements, conduct and condition, CBS and Warner Bros. Television have decided to discontinue production of ‘Two and a Half Men’ for the remainder of the season,” CBS said in a statement at the time.

Since production was halted on the current season of the show, Sheen has spoken out in a host of interviews, including Access Hollywood, and his own Internet talk show over the weekend.

Sheen had told Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush he hoped to work things out recently, noting his lawyer was going to give his terms to CBS CEO Leslie Moonves.

It was not immediately clear what the plans were for the future of “… Men,” but a report had surfaced multiple times that bosses were talking to “Glee’s” John Stamos.

“I love him. I like John, but he doesn’t have what I have and the show sucks if he’s on it,” Sheen previously told Bush before changing his position days later.

“I was out of line and you’re a beautiful man, and a talented man, and if you get the gig, we should talk,” Sheen told Los Angeles’ KTLA News last week.

CBS had no comment on the news that Warner Bros. Television had fired the actor.

Wow. I'm really sorry you had to go through that Monika. But I am very glad you have recovered from that experience. I've worked with a toxic co-worker too. I worked for a land surveyor for a few years. When I first started working there I didn't meet the bosses son for several months. Turns out he was in jail at the time. He had a drug problem. After he got out of jail his dad gave him a job. He could be very nice and personable at times. But sometimes he and his dad fought and argued (usually about money) and the rest of us had no choice but to listen to it. He was always trying to money (or bread as he called it) from his dad ostensibly to feed his wife and kids although we all knew it was really to feed his habit. One day he took off with the company vehicle (he claimed he had an appointment with his probation officer) and left myself and a co-worker stranded at a jobsite. Every payday we would have to sit in the office and listen to he and his dad argue inhis dad's office while we were waiting for our paychecks.(he never did the payroll in advance so on payday we would have to sit and wait for him to do the payroll and then race to get to the bank before closing time) Anyway the boss's son made that a company a very uncomfortable and stressful place to work. Fortunately (and by the grace of God!) I didn't suffer with physical symptoms like Monika although I definitely had a lot of stress related to the situation. So I agree with Monika that the cast and crew of the show will have been affected by Charlie's behavior and I feel badly for them.

That's quite a story, Monika. Thanks for sharing. I've worked in poor environments myself. It was usually because of bosses who expected miracles, office politics, etc. One job was so bad that I would often break down in tears at the dinner table. My husband told me to just quit; so you guessed it, I just quit. I lasted only three months. I was never afraid of working hard, but that job was just insane.

I'm glad everything worked out for you, and I hope you find a good job now that appreciates you for the gem that you are.

It's interesting because he's a high-paid celebrity on a top sitcom who is cracking up before our very eyes. When have we seen that happen before? His father and brother are famous. People are curious to see what's going to happen next. It's also very sad. He's a talented actor with five kids. A lot of people lose out by his breakdown. There's also a good chance that he may die.
