also, once on SNL on an episode where Rick Nelson was the host they did a sketch where he was Rick from THE ADVENTURES OF OZZIE & HARRIET and he was walking into the houses of some sitcom families in the 50s and one of them was the Cleaver house. I remember Jane Curtin played June, Bill Murray was Eddie Haskell and John Belushi was Beaver.

Then there’s the rather obscene parody that someone did where they take the opening scene at the table of the one with Kitty Bannerman when Wally has to take her to a dance and they dubbed in other voices and it’s pretty far out. Ward asks June “So what kind of crazy *#£* did you get up to today?” Her answer is crazy. Later Wally shows letters to Beaver that Kitty wrote to him and they imply Wally talks about bomb making.

Yeah I saw that one; it was gut busting funny, and I don't think it was even the alcohol.

I've looked at some of the parodies on Youtube, and honestly, most of them aren't funny. Here's one that's not really funny, but kind of innovative:

That's a classic one. Love SCTV.

Treky brought up SNL and LITB, so here's Bill Murray interviewing Jerry Mathers and Tony Dow.

Hey stevea that was brilliant with Hitler raving and the subtitles. I was going nuts laughing at his finding out Beaver was in reruns and anyone who doesn’t like Eddie Haskell leave now. I actually remember seeing that movie with that guy playing Mein Fuhrer. Nothing better than making Hitler look like a jerk.

Delirious (1991) The John Candy comedy where John, a soap opera writer/producer is knocked out then wakes up in his soap opera. When the doctor and nurse in the hospital room where John's character is, they tell him to look out the window to prove he is not on a set, when John looks out and sees the town they play the Leave It To Beaver theme.
