some others, you can tell I watched a lot of WB in the day...

Eric Dane will always be Phoebe (Alyssa Milano)'s boyfriend Jason on Charmed before he's Mark Sloane on Greys.

Chris Gorham will always be Harrison from Popular before Henry on Ugly Betty

Vincent Karthieser will always be Angel's son Connor and not on Mad Men

Kristen Bell will always be Veronica Mars to me, no matter how well Heroes does in the ratings

I agree with all those mentioned above. I will always think of Susan Lucci as Erica Kane (All My Children), and Anthony Geary and Genie Francis as Luke and Laura (General Hospital).

One that came to me today--- despite her success with "Transformers" Megan Fox will always be Sydney Shanowski from "Hope & Faith" to me.

I agree, although he is pretty funny on Family Guy!!

Carroll O'Conner - Archie Bunker rather than Bill Gillespie

Lucille Ball - Lucy Ricardo rather than all the Lucy characters she played after that

Vivian Vance - Ethel Mertz rather than all the times she played Viv or Vivian after that

William Frawley - Fred Mertz rather than Bub O'Casey

McLean Stevenson - Henry Blake rather than Larry Alder

Gavin McLeod - Merrill Stubing rather than Murray Slaughter

Funny you should say that, because Deidre Hall has been Marlena Evans longer than any other character she has ever played! That's why I picked that character over any other she has ever played. She will always be Marlena Evans to me.
It is the most popular and most memorable character she has played and will ever play.

Deidre Hall's first soap job was on Y&R, in the early 1970s. I agree - it is hard to imagine her on any other show, she is just so synonymous with the role of Marlena.

Me too! I never seen World Turns, Electra Woman was the first thing I saw her in so that's who I identify her as and second is her tv Mom character on Our House.

Me too! I can't see her as anyone else. She was so perfect for that role!

Kristen Johnson will ALWAYS be Sally Solomon. I couldn't get used to her as that nurse supervisor in her brief stint on "ER" because I kept seeing Sally.

Courteney Cox will always be Monica Gellar. In spite of her playing Alex Keaton's girlfriend on "Family Ties" and the Lucy character on "Dirt", she will always be the annoying, neat freak, obsessive compulsive Monica to me.

though she's been on several shows Kim Fields will always be Dorothy "tootie" ramsey to me...

and likewise, Erika Aleksander will always be Cousin Pam from "The Cosby Show" to me.

Raven Symone will always be Nicole from "hanging with mr. cooper".
