Although I haven't really been posting here much for the last eight or nine months (maybe even longer) I liked Irene and she was certainly a great member. It's a shame she's decided to leave, I hope she'll change her mind at some later date.

While I don't know Irene personally - she contributed to many parts of SO and will be missed if she doesn't come back. I was always impressed by how quickly she posted to people's problems - she seemed to genuinely care about others and her advice was usually quite good. Hopefully she comes back soon.
