apparently, they did that in the USA for awhile (until that lawsuit) , in Canada, I think they are now cooked in canola oil......but, the peanut oil made them SO much better

(Darn kids with peanut allergies ruined it for everyone

Hmmm....interesting! I can see that certain items have not risen in price as much.

Take a look at some other nostaligic Mickey D's menus:

* 1960:
Can you believe that the triple-thick milkshakes were pricier than the hamburgers???

* Phillipines Menu:
Not sure what year it is. Most-likely, it's a semi-recent one.

Yeah, things were cheaper back then, but people were also paid less. So it pretty much evens out.

That menu reminds me why I disliked McDonald's so much back then. I can't be the only who thinks their menu is a lot better now.

Making the McDs a little more distinctive sounds good to me....I think maybe they have a good idea there; for instance, here in Welland, the McDs has prints of the Canal and local attractions, and the Swiss Chalet has a collection of local antiques that the museum might be a little jealous of!
I used to hate eating there but, as a local historian, I was quite impressed.....and let the manager know
