I think us TV fans should keep things in a proper perspective. I saw some writers on the news this morning - One guy had to tell his wife of two years that they are going to have to sell their house. Another said she showed up at work the other day, and the guard at the gate took her badge and wouldn't let her on the lot because she has been laid off. Just like that - bang, unemployed. She thought she had a couple of more weeks. People are losing their cars, homes, credit cards, etc.

Again, of course fans have every right to be concerned, but we should be thinking about the other side as well. We're talking people's livelihoods and careers here. Not knowing what kind of situation Chuck and the hot girl are going to get into next, or who will be the 54th person to die on Wisteria Lane might be part of our weekly lives, but there are more important things happening here.
