Michelle's father is the one in the back on the far left with the goatee and hi-top cut. He was the saxaphonist in the group.

Really, I would take Steve over any of the hunks, who Laura went out with, even if they looked better than him.

I agree. Also Myra and Steve had alot in common. They both like to do the same things like play the accordion and she loved how smart Steve was. Although Myra became kind of obessed over him, one thing I liked about her was that she accepted Steve as is. She never tried to change him, she loved him for who he was. This is also one of the reasons why I never liked to whole Stefan story because Steve was always trying to change himself just to please Laura.

Well, that was the 80s, and the 80s were flamboyant.

Yes they were. In the 70's Parliament, Funkadelic, Earth Wind and Fire had some pretty "out there" attire. It was the style and no one thought anything weird abt it. When you look back of course it seems crazy, but for the times, it was COOL.

I know P-Funk and EWF had those costumes at their live shows. I was too young, but I seen the clips.

Amen to that. Steve always treated women with respect. He told Myra that he would go out with her but if Laura gave him the slightest inkling that he could win her heart that he was gone. Myra accepted those terms.

When Steve was maturing into a man Myra lost interest in him.

Yet again, that is not true.
She loved him for who he was and didn't want him to change.
